Ivy Leah Lightfoot passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha from short-term, complex cancer. She received comfort and courage from family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Ian Anderson Lightfoot; brother, Blair Lightfoot; mother, Donna Prat; father, James Lightfoot; and her beloved dog, Mary Jane.
Ivy planned her memorial service at Zoo Hill Pavilion, Bever Park, Cedar Rapids, at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11. Refreshments and a balloon release ceremony will follow.
Memorial gifts may be directed to the family.
Ivy will be missed.
