Ivan L. Kahler, 86, passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. A Celebration of Life service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Williamsburg. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Church in Conroy.
A general memorial has been established.

Ivan is survived by a daughter, Carol (Wayne) Willits of Williamsburg; two sons, Larry (Sue) Kahler of Altoona and Barry (Lori) Kahler of Parnell; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Kahler of California; a sister, Mildred Koenig of Springville; and two sisters-in-law, Marguerite Kahler of Marengo and Esther Kahler of Oregon.
