Iva E. Martindale, 95, of Oelwein, died Tuesday morning, March 28, 2017, at Mercy Living Plus in Oelwein. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 31, at Zion Lutheran Church, Oelwein. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein and one hour before the service Friday at the church. Graveside service and interment: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Postville Cemetery.

Iva is survived by her two sons and their wives, Donald and Karen Martindale of Monona and Peter and Regina Martindale of Oelwein; two grandsons, Nathan and Helen Martindale of Walford and Ryan Martindale (friend Christina Harbaugh) of Monona; and many nieces and nephews.
Iva was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, on Nov. 4, 2009.
