Irma "Tootie" Manta, 83, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, after a long illness. Private family services are being held.
Irma was born on May 9, 1933, the daughter of Harry and Camilla (Manwiller) Jensen. In 1979, Irma started working for Amana Refrigeration. She retired in 1994.
Left to cherish Irma's memories are her sisters, Wanda (Bernard) Scott and Bonnie (Don) Roberts; daughters, Vicki (Dennis) Irey, Terri Manta and Kim (Billy) Gibson; grandchildren, Janell (Jamie) Thomas, Cody Irey, Dustin Brundrett and Keven (Sarah) Brundrett; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Trenton, Cami, Jensen and Allison; stepgrandchildren, Keegan and Kaitlyn Thomas and Alex and Gabe Gibson; and many nieces, nephews and great-grandnieces and nephews.
Irma was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Rudolph Duane.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
