Imogene K. Bagge, 90, of Dyersville, died Wednes-day, Aug. 12, 2015, at Oak Crest Manor, Dyersville. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, at Kramer Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave. SW, Dyersville, where a parish vigil service will be at 2 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday, Aug. 15, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Kramer Funeral Home before the funeral services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Dennis Quint will officiate.
Imogene was born March 21, 1925, in Dyersville, Iowa, the daughter of Ernest and Clara (Goerdt) Grawe. She married Jerome J. Bagge on Jan. 25, 1950, in Dyersville. Together they farmed near Petersburg from 1950 to 1964 and near Dyersville from 1964 to 1986 before retiring to Dyersville in 1986.
Imogene enjoyed bingo, Wheel of Fortune, league bowling, meals at the Senior Center, cards, and was a member of the Order of Martha's. Her greatest joy were family visits.
Survivors include her three children, Kenneth Bagge of Iowa City, Loras (Jolene) Bagge of Dyersville and Janet (Ed) Putz of Petersburg; seven grandchildren, Brian, Krystal, Tim and Nick Bagge and Brad, Jeremy and Brittany Putz; and in-laws, Priscilla (LaVern) Moorman of Edgewood, Mary Ellen Hoefler of Lamont, and Daniel (Myrna) Bagge and Carol Bagge, both of Dyersville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerome in 2008; siblings, Gerald (Aurelia) Grawe, Cletus Grawe, Mercedes (Ambrose) Maiers and Madonna (Leroy) Wulfekuhle; and in-laws, Alice (Albert) Boeckenstedt, Pearl (Omer) Koelker, Jeanette (Cletus) Tauke, Leon Bagge, Arnold Hoefler, Mila and Betty Bagge.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff at Ellen Kennedy Center, Oakcrest Manor, and Hospice of Dubuque, especially Cyndi.
