Ila Marie Selk Mills, 79, died Thursday, July 31, 2014, at the Belle Plaine Nursing and Rehab Center. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at the First Lutheran Church with Pastor Dean Duncan presiding. Burial will be in Winslow Cemetery, rural Hartwick. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Hrabak Funeral Home and after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
She is survived by a son, Danny of Marshalltown; daughter, Cathy Mills of Belle Plaine; sisters, Lavonne Henkel, Nadine Fisher and Joann (Larry) Walker, all of Vinton, and Diane (Richard) Hegarty of Elberon; and brothers, Lanny (Betty) Selk of Dysart and Lynn (Brenda) Selk of Keystone.
Ila was preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Flossie Rippel Selk; husband, Dale in 2010; and brothers-in-law, Myron Henkel and Richard Fisher.
A memorial fund has been established.
