Ida Johnson, 92, formerly of Iowa City, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015, at Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Webster City with Pastor Elaine Caldbeck officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church
Ida Nellie Johnson was born March 12, 1923, the daughter of Walter and Jannette Goldcamp Johnson in Big Sandy, Mont. She graduated from Webster City schools and later obtained a master's degree in nursing. She was a nursing instructor at the University of Iowa.
Ida will be missed by her brothers, Elzy (Audrey) Johnson of Woolstock and Gene (Henrietta) Johnson of Kalona; sister, Joyce (Gary) Anderson of Fort Dodge; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Raymond Johnson; and sister, Della Bothell.
She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Iowa City.
