Ian Lee Connour, 21, died Thursday, June 2, 2016, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Visitation: 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Service: 4 p.m. Saturday following the visitation, conducted by Certified Celebrant Diane Thovson. Burial: Czech National Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his mother, Kelly (Jaime) Gonzalez of Cedar Rapids; brother, Manny Dee Gonzalez of Cedar Rapids; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his surrogate family in Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Ian was born July 15, 1994, in Alton, Ill., the son of Kelly Connour. He graduated from Alton High School. Ian was a professional disc golfer. He was a member of the PDGA. Ian was fun-loving and giving person. He lived life day by day and to the fullest. He and his brother, Manny Dee, were baptized together and continuing with his giving personality, he gave the gift of life to several people by being an organ donor.
