Husmann, Vanessa
Vanessa Husmann, 3, of Hopkinton, died Saturday, March 5, 2011, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 11, at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Hopkinton, with interment in the Hopkinton Cemetery. Father John Kremer will officiate at the service. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church with a prayer service at 4 p.m.

Survivors include her mother and father, Vaughn and Rhonda Marty Husmann; sister, Taylor Kremer of Monticello; two brothers, Brandon and Jake Marty of Hopkinton; grandparents, Kay Less and John McElmeel of Wyoming, John and Carolyn Less of Nebraska, Nancy Husmann and Robert Marshall of Texas, and Colin Husmann of Monticello; great-grandparents, Elizabeth J. Wilson of Hopkinton, and Delbert and Janaan Husmann of Monticello; aunts and uncles, Ryan and Amanda Husmann of Monticello, Randy Less and special friend Stacey Martinsen of Manchester, Stacey Less of Hopkinton, and Kimberly Less of Hopkinton; great-aunts and uncles, Lynn and Kenneth Swanson of Wisconsin, Trish and Jim Janssen of Scotch Grove, Pamela Mott of Mount Vernon, Jimmy Arduser and Ronnie Arduser, both of Monticello, Charles and Connie Woods of Texas, Bob and Emmie Dunkel of Hopkinton, Betty Hamilton of Waterloo, George and Kathy Arduser, Jean Arduser, and Janet Meyer, all of Monticello; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Joanna Less, Donald H. Wilson, Wilma Cunningham, and George Arduser; great-aunts and uncles, Bob Wilson, Ron Meyer, Michael Husmann, Dennis Arduser and Larry Hamilton.
Vanessa Elizabeth Husmann was born June 5, 2007, in Manchester, Iowa. She was the daughter of Vaughn and Rhonda Marty Husmann. Vanessa enjoyed coloring, drawing, singing and dressing up like a princess. Most of all she loved being Mommy and Daddy's little helper.
Her touch, her laugh and her smile will be missed by all.
