Hunt, Donald E.
Donald E. Hunt, 82, of Mount Pleasant, longtime florist and greenhouse operator, died Thursday, March 24, 2011, in Mount Pleasant. Services are at 11 a.m. Friday, April 1, at the Kimzey Funeral Home, 213 N. Main St., with burial in the Forest Home Cemetery, both in Mount Pleasant. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at the Kimzey Funeral Home. The family will be present to receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and again one hour before the funeral service Friday.
Local area survivors include a daughter and her husband, Connie and Steve Hauskins of Cedar Rapids; a granddaughter and her husband, Kristina and Chad Canfield of Cedar Rapids; and three great grandchildren, Zach, Zoe and Zada Canfield of Cedar Rapids.
Memorials may be directed to the Park Place Long Term Care Unit.
