Huck, Ruth
Ruth Huck, 89, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at the La Porte City Nursing and Rehab of natural causes. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Jubilee, 12007 Jubilee Rd., La Porte City, with the Rev. Jenna Couch officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton and an hour before service time at the church on Wednesday. Burial: Jubilee Cemetery.
She is survived by two sisters, Jean Seaman, Independence, and Christine Bierschenk, Newhall; and several nieces and nephews.
Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home, Vinton, is caring for Ruth and her family.
