Huber, Becky Jo (Sauer)

Becky Jo (Sauer) Huber, 55, of Delaware, Iowa, passed away Oct. 6, 2012, surrounded by her family, following a courageous battle with cancer. Memorial Services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Manchester. Visitation will be held before the services, from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Becky was born April 6, 1957, in Manchester, the daughter of Nyle and Corrine (Trumbull) Sauer. Becky graduated from Maquoketa Valley High School in 1975. On July 22, 1995, Becky was united in marriage to Dennis Huber. The couple resided in Delaware.

Becky enjoyed the outdoors; spending time with her horse and other pets. Her family and friends were very special to her.

Becky is survived by her husband, Dennis Huber of Delaware; her parents, Nyle and Corrine Sauer; two stepsons, Bradley and Matthew Huber; one sister, Beverly (Steven) McAreavy of Delaware; two brothers, Bill (Connie) of Treynor, Iowa and Brad (Roxanne) of Chelsea; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Goble of Moore, Okla.; and nieces and nephews, Steve and Diane McAreavy, Tammy Stelken, Sarah and Randy Napalitanis, Josh Sauer, Ashley and Jason Peters, Samantha Sauer, Mike and Alaina Birely, and Diana Sauer.

Becky was preceded in death by her brother, Brett Sauer; a nephew, Seth Stelken; and her grandparents.

A memorial fund has been established in Becky's name.
