Hrdlicka, Larry Lloyd
Larry Lloyd Hrdlicka, 67, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at his home. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, temporarily located at 3100 F Ave. NW. Burial will follow in the Shueyville Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Swisher American Legion. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until services Thursday.
Larry was born Sept. 29, 1942, in Cedar Rapids, the son Lloyd and Helen Bys Hrdlicka. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a licensed electrician for many years. Larry loved to bowl, as well as fish, hunt, golf and watch NASCAR. For many years he was involved with racing and showing his prized Pontiac.
Larry is survived by his a brother-in-law, Don Hahn of Cedar Rapids; a niece, Diana (Russ) Straate of Minneapolis; as well as numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, David Hrdlicka; and a sister, Shirley Hahn.
