Larry D. Hoth, 68, of Marengo, formerly of Oelwein, died Friday evening, Aug. 30, 201, at his home with his family at his side. Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and for one hour before the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein.

Larry is survived by his wife, Jeannette Hoth of Marengo; three children, Jodi (David) Allen of Des Moines, John (Madonna) Hoth of Marion and Jennifer Hoth (Bob McMurrin) of Independence; five grandchildren, Lauren Hoth, Austin Hoth, Desiree Allen, Blake Hoth and Brady Clark; sister, Lois Boies of Oelwein; mother-in-law, Mert Duffy of Guttenberg; sister-in-law, Carolyn (Jeff) Minnich of Carroll; brother-in-law, David Duffy of Marengo; and many nieces and nephews.
