Horning, Charles William
Charles William Horning, 85, of Keota, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2012, at his home. Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota, with the Rev. Dennis Hopes officiating. Burial of cremated remains will be at Keota Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Charles is survived by his wife, Joan; his children, Angela (John) Carr, Rex (Patty) Horning and Crystial (Brian) Wright, all of Keota; nine grandchildren; seven and a half great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law: Betty (Bob) Jacobs, Velma (Vern) Mayes and Dorris Gerard; brother-in-law: Melvin Gerard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His loved ones who have gone before him include his parents and very close brother, George “Leslie” Horning.
Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota is caring for Charles and his family.
