Horn, Marvin and Doris
Marvin Horn (1918-2006) and Doris Horn (1928-2010): Graveside committal services, 1 p.m. Friday, June 10, at St. John's Cemetery, Clarence. Dr. Ruth Hempel and Father Dr. Sebastian Naslund, friends of the family, will officiate.
Mr. and Mrs. Horn, former residents of Clarence, had resided for the past 14 years in Harlingen, Texas.
June 10 would have been the couple's 65th wedding anniversary and for that reason this date was specifically chosen for the committal.
Mr. Horn worked for many years for the Clarence Cooperative until his retirement. Mrs. Horn was a homemaker and worked part-time for the Clarence Telephone Co. Before and after their retirement they were avid RVers and made many friends throughout the Midwest in their travels.
Chapman Funeral Home, Clarence, is in charge of arrangements.
