Honolka, Jon Jeffery
Jon Jeffery Honolka, 50, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness Thursday, May 16, 2013, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
He is survived by his mother, Kay (Mike) McMillan; father, Don (Sharon) Honolka of Arlington, Texas; brothers, Jack (Rhonda), Jim (Sandi) and Jeff; sister, Suzanne (Joe) Dudek; numerous aunts, uncles and nephews; and one niece.
Jon was born March 18, 1963, in Cedar Rapids, son of Don Honolka and Kay (Critchfield) McMillan. He graduated from Pleasant Valley High School. Jon played basketball and baseball simply for the love of the game.
Donations may be made in his memory to the kidney foundation or the cancer society.
