Holzinger, Nada
Nada Holzinger, 60, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at Manor Care Nursing Home. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona, Ill., with visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Burial: Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, Ill.
Born July 4, 1952, in Rock Island, Ill., daughter of Eugene A. and Charlotte Rose Thompson Havemann, she married Steven Holzinger on June 26, 1972, in Chicago. He died Nov. 7, 2007. She enjoyed crafts, drawing, candle work, and writing poems.
Survivors include a son, Sean of Cedar Rapids; mother-in-law, Norma Holzinger of Carbon Cliff, Ill.; and several brothers- and sisters-in-law.
