Holscher, Donald 'Don Don' Harvey
Donald “Don Don” Harvey Holscher, 56, died at home Jan. 9, 2013. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Greeley Community Church by Pete Buschman. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Earlville. Graveside Committal will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery, Earlville.
Don Don was born Sept. 26, 1956, in Manchester, the son of James Arthur and Ann L. (LeClere) Holscher. He lived with his parents in the Earlville area until their passing, when he went to live with his sister, Sandy, and brother in-law, Terry, in Greeley.
Don Don was a very “special” person who touched many lives and had a positive effect on everyone who met him. He enjoyed being in his room watching game shows, playing music, baseball cards, football cards, basketball cards, and hockey cards.
Don Don is survived by three siblings, Bob (Julia) Holscher of St. Cloud, Minn., Pat Cole of Cedar Falls and Sandy (Terry) Frommelt of Greeley; six nieces and nephews; eight great-nieces and great-nephews; a stepniece; a stepnephew; and five stepgreat-nieces and stepgreat-nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ann Holscher; and a brother in-law, Bruce Tibbott.
The family wishes to thank the excellent caregivers from Home Care and Hospice, Community Life, and Sue and Sally.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Regional Medical Home Care, Hospice of Comfort or Camp Courageous in Don Don's memory.
