Holloway, Florence R. 'Flo'

Florence R. “Flo” Holloway, 78, a resident of Living Center West, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness. Private family graveside services will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include a son, Danny Atkins of Florida; a brother, Daniel Lyons of Buffalo, N.Y.; and two sisters, Martha Miess of Buffalo, N.Y., and Helen Dally of Tonawanna, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Inez Miess.

Flo was born Oct. 27, 1933, in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of Daniel and Inez Schrader Lyons. She was a waitress for many years and was a former member of the Family of Faith Community Church.

She was a wonderful mother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
