HOLLIS P. HARTUNG CANADY

Hollis P. Hartung Canady, 101, died on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at Meth-Wick. There will be no services. Hollis donated her body to the University of Iowa Deeded Body Program. Burial at a later date at Mount Vernon Memorial Cemetery. Hollis was born on Oct. 30, 1919, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of R.B. and Alice (Brown) Booth.
Survivors include her children, Marilyn (Don) Kruger, Meryl (Jan) Hartung and Terri Valenta; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Milford Hartung and Floyd Canady; three sisters; one brother; and son-in-law, Larry Valenta.
The family extends their appreciation to the Meth-Wick Community and Compassus Hospice for their care and compassion.
