Hoffpauir, Debra Kay Ament

CEDAR RAPIDS - Debra Kay Ament Hoffpauir, 51, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital. Memorial services: 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, where the family will greet friends after 3 p.m. Saturday.
Survivors include her husband, Clyde; her father, Ron; her son, Justin (Jennifer) Ament of Cedar Rapids; seven stepchildren, Joe Gluba III and Gabe Gluba, both of Cedar Rapids, and C.J., Jason, Christina, Katie and Alex Hoffpauir; two brothers, Steve Petsel of LeClaire and Andy Petsel of Rye, N.H.; her mother-in-law, Kay Walton of Cedar Rapids; a granddaughter, Leona Ament; 10 stepgrandchildren; and brothers- and sisters in-law, Joe (Denise) Hoffpauir of Cedar Rapids, Tim (Tanya) Hoffpauir of Arkansas, and Tim (Joanna) Sekavec of Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Petsel.
Debra was born Aug. 17, 1959, the daughter of Ron and Betty (Finn) Petsel, in Cedar Rapids. On March 3, 2005, she married Clyde R. Hoffpauir.
Debra was a high spirited person and a beautiful woman.
