Hobel, Wilma Lucille
Wilma Lucille Hobel of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, went to be with her Lord on Nov. 24, 2010.
Wilma was born May 8, 1922, to Frank C. and Addie (Butler) Gage of Mount Vernon, Iowa. She married John E. Hobel Sr. on Feb. 8, 1942. She and John have three wonderful sons, John E. Jr., Dennis J. and Frank C. Hobel. She has six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Wilma enjoyed her life, family and being her husband's No. 1 race car fan. She has always been proud of being a good homemaker and raising her three sons. Wilma and John were very happily married for 68 years.
Per Wilma's request there will be no service. She has been laid to rest at Wilcox Cemetery in Viola, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Hospice.
