Hlas, Carol S.
Carol S. Hlas, 68, died Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids following a long illness. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Christ United Methodist Church in Belle Plaine, by the Rev. James Campbell. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and after noon Friday at the church.
She is survived by her husband, Don; daughter, Angie Papesh of Belle Plaine; sister, Eunice Houska of Marshalltown; granddaughters, Melinda and Nicole; and great-grandchildren, Braylynn Papesh, Parker Toney, and Jason Schulze.
Memorials may be directed to St. Luke's Hospice or the Marengo Hospital Dialysis Unit.
