Hladky, Janet Odena
Janet Odena Hladky, 93, of Marengo, formerly of Guernsey, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, at the Rose Haven Nursing Home in Marengo. Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at First Presbyterian Church, Marengo, with the Rev. Diane Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Marengo Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.
Memorials may be contributed to the National Kidney Foundation in her name.
Obits body copy_44: Odena is survived by her son, Dennis “Pete” of Marengo; a daughter, Mitzi Quick of Eldora; five grandchildren, Jari Sinnwell, Julie Quick-Alcorn and John Paul, Mark and Elizabeth Lilla; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Dolly Stucker Dillin; her husband, Frank Hladky in 1994; two sons, Paul and Frankie Hladky; three brothers, John Bruce, Bob and George Dillin; and a sister, Cheribel Schmidt.
