Hinbaugh, Lester A.
Lester A. Hinbaugh, 90, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Muscatine, passed away April 25, 2012, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 30, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Muscatine. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, with military rites by VFW Post 1565. Visitation for Lester will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
Lester will be deeply missed by his daughters, Leslie (Scott) Tackleson of Cedar Rapids, Florence Parsons of Sioux City and Sandra (Jim) Sward of Sioux City; seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Madeline; and one brother, Arthur James “Bud” Hinbaugh.
Memorials may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, 315 18th Ave., Hiawatha, IA 52233 in Lester's name.
