Hillmer, Joan Yvonne
Joan Yvonne Hillmer, 83, of Everett, Wash., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died July 8, 2012, in Bothel, Wash. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, July 19, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 8517 Seventh Ave. SE, Everett, WA 98208.
Survivors include a son, Dennis; stepchildren, Tom Hillmer, Gary Hillmer and Cindy Claiborne; and brother, Ronnie Landis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey H. Hillmer.
Joan was born April 5, 1929, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She graduated from St. Patrick's Catholic School in 1947. Joan moved to Edmonds, Wash., in September 1962, with her husband, Harvey, and son, Dennis.
