High, Donald E.
Edgewood, Iowa. On Aug. 1, 1968, Don retired as a Master Sergeant after 22 years in the United States Air Force and then worked at the Pentagon as Joint Chief of Staff, until July 22, 1976. He moved back to Cedar Rapids and worked at Butler Paper, retiring from there after 20 years of service.
Don was a member of Edgewood Fellowship Center, Caleb Club at Good News Baptist Church and attended and volunteered at Mission of Hope. A resident of Brookview Independent Living, he enjoyed gardening, photography and especially loved playing board games with his grandchildren and friends.
Memorials may be directed to a fund to be established in Don's honor.
