Hickman, Kim
Kim Hickman, 76, of Iowa City, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012, with family by her side, at Mercy Iowa City. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. There will be a period of visitation one hour before services and also following the services at the funeral home.
Kim was born July 15, 1935, in Korea. She has been a longtime resident of Iowa City, where she worked for the former Moore Business Forms for many years before her retirement. She was married to John M. Hickman in June 1988 in Iowa City.
Kim was a charter member of the Korean Methodist Church in Iowa City. Her hobbies included traveling, gardening, and cooking.
Her family includes her husband, John; daughter, Karen; son-in-law, Mike; and one grandson, Jayden.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund through Iowa City Hospice has been established in her memory.
