Herink, Ludwig G.
Ludwig G. Herink, 90, of Tama, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Deacon Joe Behounek officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Survivors include his wife, Helen of Tama; four daughters, Suzanne (George) Mohrfeld of Tama, Geraldine (Marlin) Wiese of Cedar Rapids, Cheryl (Dr. L. Travis) Smith of Martinez, Ga., and Karla (Warren) Marchant of Tifton, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; his sister, Mildred Riha of Toledo; and several nieces and nephews.
