HENRY "JUNIOR" LINNE JR.
Coralville
Henry "Junior" Linne Jr., 79, died peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015, at Windmill Manor Care Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at Lensing Oak Hill Funeral Service, Coralville, with the Rev. Jacquie Berlien officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice Compassus.
Junior was born March 29, 1936, in Clear Lake, the son of Henry and Alvina Sandersfeld Linne. He was raised in Clear Lake, moving to Coralville in 1957. On Jan. 2, 1960, Junior married Donna Caton in Iowa City.
Junior was a self-employed construction worker. He was very talented and in his later years, became a computer expert.
Junior is survived by his loving wife, Donna; his sister-in-law, Patty Barlow of Schaller, Iowa; nieces and nephews, Karen (Tony) Emanuel, Bonnie Roppe, Sherrie (Bryan) Winter, Curtis Mestad and Kathy Hanna; special friends, Gary and Linda Godfrey, Deb Knapp, Jobby, and Jerry and Marilyn Wahe; his maltipoo, Willie; and many extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Robert, George, Trina, Gertrude and Everett; and nephews, Gary and Doug.
