Henik, Darin Mark
Darin Mark Henik, 49, passed away in Mesa, Ariz., of non-Hodgkins Lymphoma on May 7, 2009. The family did not learn of his death until last week. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Darin was born on Feb. 15, 1960, in Dubuque. The son of Donald and Virginia Elaine Rieger Henik, he was raised in and attended school in Lisbon.
He is survived by his sister, Darcy Henik; niece, Alexa Ralls; two great-nephews, Zane and Xander Ralls, all of Lisbon; and a daughter, Ayla.
Darin was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Luanne Nemecek Henik; maternal grandparents, Willard and Mae LaGuire Rieger; and paternal grandparents, George and Julia Slach Henik.
Darin was deeply loved and will be forever in our hearts.
