Henecke, Dorothy A.
Dorothy A. Henecke, 92 of Fairfield, Ohio, entered into eternal life Monday, April 2, 2012.
She was born in Fairfield, Iowa, to the late Blanche and Warren Davis and later married John Henecke Jr. Dorothy retired from Collins Radio in Cedar Rapids and moved to Tucson, Ariz., where she lived until 2000, when she returned to Iowa. She moved to Ohio in 2003 to live with her brother Lloyd R. Davis Sr.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, JoAnn (Roger) Neu of Kansas City, Mo.; sisters-in-law, Lelia Davis of Fairfield, Ohio, Marjorie Davis of Marion, and Margaret Henecke of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; son, Jerry; great-grandson, Billy Neu; three brothers, Grant, Donald and Lloyd Davis; and two nephews, Michael and Jon Davis.
She was a member of Cactus Community Church of the Nazarene in Tucson and the First Church of the Nazarene in Cedar Rapids.
Committal service will be at South Lawn Cemetery in Tucson, Ariz., at a later date.
