Henderson, Dean
Dean Henderson, 53, formerly of Marion, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012, due to a sudden illness. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Marion. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 30, at the funeral Home in Marion. Burial: Mount Clark Cemetery, Central City.
Survivors include his mother, Joanne Jordan of San Antonio, Texas; grandmother, Winnie Henderson of Central City; two brothers, Randy (Judy) Henderson of Petersburg, Alaska, and their daughters, Susan and Angela, and Tim Henderson of Cedar Rapids. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Keith Henderson; one grandmother, Lucille Jordan; and his grandfathers, Adrian Jordan and Lloyd Henderson.
Dean was born March 14, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Keith Henderson and Joanne Jordan. He was known for his great sense of humor and for always trying to make sure those around him had a better day.
