HELENE TIDBALL

Helene Tidball, 95, of Woodland, Calif., formerly of Central City, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, at Californian Assisted Living. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids. The family will greet friends one hour before the services.
Helene was born June 22, 1922, the daughter of William and Marie (Bang) Moershel. She worked at Camp Fire Girls before working for Linn County Conservation at Central City fairgrounds. Helene and husband Robert retired to Woodland, Calif., in 1990.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; sister, Wilma Marie Tidball; and brother-in-law, Dr. Wellar Tidball.
Left to cherish Helene's memories are her son, Bruce Tidball of San Francisco, Calif.; and nephews, Dr. John Scott Tidball of California and Dale, Beverly and Roger Maine.
In lieu of flowers, the family has respectfully requested that any memorial contribution be made to a charity of your choice.
