Helen May Teeter, 89, died Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
Survivors include a daughter, Terry Schwandt; son-in-law, Michael; sister, Dorothy (Harold) Klinsky; granddaughter, Jennifer (Justin) Lockard; great-grandchildren, Max, Madelynne and Jack; sister-in-law, Betty Teeter; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Teeter.
Helen and her late husband, Leonard, were photographers in Cedar Rapids until his death in 1984.
She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
