Helen J. Kupka, 96, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, at Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama from compli-cations of age. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Chelsea, with
Deacon Joe Behounek presiding. Burial will be in Stayskal Cemetery, rural Chelsea. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church. Per her request, the casket will be closed at all times.
She is survived by a niece, Betty Mundt of Marshalltown; great-nieces, Linda Hay of Austin, Minn., Sandy (Mike) Johnson and Deb (Mike) Forristall, both of Madrid, Iowa, Vicki Davis of Galt and Karen Guglielmetti of Clutier; great-nephews, Bill (Kathy) Mundt of Newhall, Russell (Judy) Kupka of Tama and Larry (Reva) Kupka of DeLand, Fla.; many great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and cousins, Tom Harty of Keystone and Jean (Randy) Pfeiffer of Muscatine.
