Helen "Jean" Pitlik, 94, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019. Burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, at St. John's Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Jean was born May 4, 1924, in Central City, Iowa, the daughter of Dale and Wilma (Miller) Mosher. On Sept. 15, 1951, she was united in marriage to Francis Pitlik at All Saints Church in Cedar Rapids. Jean was employed at Quaker Oats throughout her working career. Francis and Jean enjoyed traveling to numerous countries around the world. Upon moving to Keystone Place, she enjoyed reading, puzzles and playing cards with friends.
Jean is survived by her cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Francis.
Memorials may be directed in Jean's memory to Camp Courageous.
