Helen Gates, 49, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Celebration of Life services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Brosh Chapel. A private family inurnment will be at a later date.
