Helen Mildred Brown, 93, of Marion, passed away Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, at Terrace Glen Village. Private family graveside services will take place at a later date at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Helen was born Feb. 6, 1928, in Fort Madison, Iowa, to Raymond and Isabelle (Foreman) Frizzelle. She was united in marriage to Max Duayne Brown on Oct. 17, 1953, in Bellwood, Ill. Helen worked as a registered nurse at St. Luke's Hospital for over 30 years.
Helen is survived by her two sons, Greg Brown of Melbourne, Australia, and Lindsay (Dianne) Brown of Marion; four grandchildren, Austin and Valerie Brown, Cara (Andre) Kahler and Kevin (Sarah) Brown; and three great-grandchildren, Landon and Bennett Kahler and Maxwell Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Max; granddaughter, Caitlin Brown; and a sister, Annabelle Frizzelle.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Courageous.
