Heitman, Milton G.
Milton G. Heitman, 89, of Marengo, died Monday, July 29, 2013, at the Marengo Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Marengo, with Father Joseph Roost officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Marengo. Visitation: 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with a Scripture service at 7:30 p.m.
A memorial fund has been established.
Milton is survived by three sons, George of Altoona, Leon (Joni) of Cedar Rapids and Dwight (Denise) of Marengo; five daughters, Angela Heitman of Maquoketa, Susan Fultz (Terry) of Ames, Stephanie Manning (Ray) of Iowa City, Mary Pat Heitman (Pat Coyle) of Iowa City and Renee Drost (Don) of Pella; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Rosa Conrad Heitman; his wife of 63 years, Mary Lavonne Hildman Heitman in 2010; and three siblings, Wanda Moser, Glova Sheda and Wilbur Heitmann.
