Hebert, Lois Darlene
Lois Darlene Hebert, 77, of Center Point, formerly of Palo, died Sunday, June 20, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. William Harnish. Visitation: from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her son, Terry (Kathy) Hebert of Palo; her daughter, Tina Marie (Terry) Nemecek of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Robert (Gale) Pruitt of Escondido, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Darlene was born Feb. 22, 1933, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Albin and Margaret Pruitt. She married Lonnie Hebert on Nov. r 10, 1950, in Des Moines. Darlene worked in several area restaurants over the years and also drove truck with her husband. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lonnie; and a son, Tim.
