Heather Cousins, 40, died Friday, July 24, 2015, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha. There will be a Celebration of Life from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at St. Andrews Golf Course.
Survivors include her husband, Dustin Cousins; a son, Drake Cousins; siblings, Tyler Hall, Julie Hall-Brown, Michael Hall Jr. and Samantha Hall-Weismayer; and her parents, Brenda Hall and Michael Hall.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Emily Dawn; maternal grandmother, Barbara Russell; and her uncle, Donald Russell Jr.
Heather was born on June 16, 1975, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of Brenda Hall (Russell). She married Dustin Cousins on July 21, 2007, in Cedar Rapids.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Dupaco Community Credit Union, Cedar Rapids.
Heather was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
