Heath, Robert L.
Robert L. Heath, 55, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton following a long illness. Friends may greet the family from 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, followed by a 2 p.m. memorial service at Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader.
Bob is survived by Betsy Zein, Elkader; sons, Robert (Laura) Heath, Los Angeles, Calif., Thomas Heath, Cedar Rapids and Matthew Heath, Iowa City; stepdaughter, Erin Zein, North Liberty; his mother, Shirley Shedd, Crystal Lake, Ill.; siblings, Rhonda (Joe) Palshis, Rory Heath and Randy (Diane) Shedd, all of the Chicago area; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be sent to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, or the Hampton Care Center.
