Harvey C. Johnson, 77, of Monticello, Iowa, passed away on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022. A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held at Monticello Eagles Club on Saturday, Nov. 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Harvey was born March 29, 1945 in Monticello, Iowa, to Clarence and Minnie (Luck) Johnson. Harvey was united in marriage to Cynthia Ehlts on Feb. 3, 1968. Harvey and Cynthia had two sons, CJ Johnson, born in 1968, and Joseph D Johnson, born 1976. Harvey served in the Army from 1963-1966. Harvey worked at Bader's Masonery and Energy. Harvey enjoyed fishing, playing cards, driving all over, and talking to friends he met along the way.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Cyndy J Johnson; sons, CJ (Dionne Prull) Johnson and JoeD (Brooke) Johnson; grandchildren, Chelsea (Cody Tracy), Asher Johnson and Ruby Johnson; stepgrandchildren, Allison Barnhart and Zander Alden; and siblings, Harlan (Debbie) Johnson, Virgil (Judy) Johnson and Ruth Ann (Mike) Less.
