Harty, Robert William
Robert William Harty, 88, of Keystone, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha following a long illness. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Belle Plaine by Deacon Joe Behounek. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine, where there will be a rosary at 7 p.m.
He is survived by a daughter, Jean (Randall) Pfeiffer of Muscatine; son, Tom Harty of Keystone; and granddaughter, Sarah Pfeiffer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene.
