Sybil Hartman, 99, formerly of Wyoming, passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, in her apartment at Delmar Gardens, Lawrenceville, Ga. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at Zion Lutheran Church, Wyoming, with interment at Wyoming Cemetery. Pastor Ginger Anderson will officiate at the service. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at Lahey Funeral Home in Wyoming..
Surviving are a son, Charles (Betty) Hartman, Lawrenceville, Ga.; a daughter, Karen Strand, Arnold, Calif.; four grandchildren, Bruce (Sharon) Hartman, Clinton, Miss., Brent (Lori) Hartman, Buford, Ga., Kristin (Jamie) Overton, Elk Grove, Calif., and Scott Strand, Arnold, Calif.; six great-grandchildren, Kyle and Kelli Hartman, Chase and Braden Hartman, Abigail and Natalie Overton; and special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter in April 1996; brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Betty Hutton; son-in-law, Max Strand; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Helen and Louie Nielsen, Alice and Tom Lister and Gladys and Bob Van Gundy.
