Harry James Yauslin, 72, of Marion, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at ManorCare Health Services in Cedar Rapids. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Garden of Tranquility, officiated by Pastor Ronald Morrow of Gospel Light Baptist Church.
Harry was born May 3, 1942, in Marion, Iowa, to Glen and Mary (Sidler) Yauslin. He was united in marriage to Nadean Mildred Bauerrichter on Sept. 12, 1980, in Cedar Rapids.
He worked as a machinist at Iowa Manufacturing for 24 years and he was a proud member of the Machinists Union Local 831. He enjoyed going on vacations with his wife and fishing. He loved his dogs.
Harry is survived by a brother, Robert (Rochelle) Yauslin of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Charles and Verna Randall of Marion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nadean, in June 2014; his parents; a brother; and a sister.
Memorial donations in Harry's name may be directed to Gospel Light Baptist Church or the Cedar Valley Humane Society.
