Harry C. Raygor, 88, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Heritage Nursing and Rehab Center. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Teahen Funeral Home by the Rev. Mark Reasoner. Friends may visit with the family on Monday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday after 9 a.m.
Harry is survived by three sons, Richard (Lisa) of Hewitt, Texas, and Gary and Robin, both of Cedar Rapids; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; and son, Larry.
Harry was born May 10, 1928, in Coon Rapids, the son of Edison and Martha Muller Raygor. He married Patricia Shaffer on Sept. 5, 1959, in Cedar Rapids. Harry worked as a machinist for 38 years at Universal Gym, retiring in 1993.
Harry enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, camping and just being in nature. He was involved in the Boy Scouts when his children were growing up and continued after they were grown.
Harry was a loving and devoted husband and father.
