Harrison, Patricia
Patricia Harrison, 76, of Columbus Junction, passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at Mercy Iowa City. Mass of Resurrection for Patricia will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Following the committal services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the St. Mary's Parish Center. Visitation for Patricia will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday with a 7 p.m. prayer service at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside.
Memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice or St. Mary's Catholic Church, in memory of Patricia.

Patricia Louise Cory was born on Jan. 13, 1936, in Elkhart, Iowa, the daughter of Allen and Pearl (Hennessey) Cory. On June 26, 1954, Patricia was united in marriage to Kenneth Lloyd Harrison in Elkhart, Iowa. Patricia was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside. She enjoyed playing pinochle, shopping (especially when there were sales), cooking, making “the best” chicken and noodles, taking her grandchildren out for ice cream and spending time with her family.
Patricia will be deeply missed by her children, Mark Harrison and his wife, Rene of Riverside, Kent Harrison of Columbus Junction, Robin Harrison of Iowa City, Kevin Harrison of Ainsworth, and Russell Harrison of Columbus Junction; eight grandchildren, Josh, Nicole, Amy, Jessica, Cody, Billy, Katie and Kendell; five stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her siblings, Bob Cory and his wife, Lou Jean of Bondurant, Jim Cory and his wife, Barb of Pleasant Hill, Helen Burnett and her husband, Norm of Winnemucca, Nev., Jerry Cory and his wife, Sandy of Des Moines, and Lou Cory and his wife, Karen of Johnston; her brother-in-law, Ron Hamm of Bondurant; and her sister-in-law, Rosemary Cory of Johnston.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2010; her son, Michael in 2012; and two brothers, CL “Buck” Cory and Michael Cory.
